The missions are tough, definitely the hardest of the campaign. Fortunately for her, this does not mean morphing into a Cthulhu-like tentacle lump like the other Xel’naga, but rather becoming a sexy angel of light (of course) with god-like powers. To do this, the last living Xel’naga tells Kerrigan that she has been chosen to ascend to become fully Xel’naga herself.
None of this “the darkness rises again in a thousand years” nonsense that always seems to plague plotlines like this. The plot of the epilogue is that since a banished Amon is still a dangerous Amon, they have to dive into the shadow realm and kill him once and for all. There are three, and in them, you get to play as Protoss, Terran and Zerg respectively, closing out the series with all three races and their three main heroes, Artanis, Raynor and Kerrigan, all working together.
